Screw the Obamacare lies, here's an Obamacare true story!

Barack Obama gave his typically political speech about Obamacare on Tuesday in Boston and, based on the fact that his lips were moving, it was all lies and misrepresentations of the truth!

He gave the national address in front of crowd in Massachusetts that was apparently comprised of mindless Sheeple on the one hand and likely members of SEIU on the other.

They clapped and genuflected throughout which, in not so many days, will be followed by tears when they find out what their King has done to them, their healthcare and for many their personal finances.

And when that happens I will have no sympathy for them because they will have reaped what they have sown.

My sympathy will be reserved for the rest of us. All of the people who knew that there is never something for nothing and that the government, particularly under this President, can do nothing right.

Never-the-less, we will have been sucked into this medical misery right along with them while their King and his Court have exempted themselves from the same fate!

And as an irrelevant aside, the President chose to give this speech in Boston on a day when the Red Sox were playing to clinch the World Series.

A fact that made his presence in that town another factor that would throw an already overcrowded and overexcited city into a lockdown based on his movements.

While anecdotal in nature, to me it is just another indication of the disdain and lack of concern that he has for the mere peasants.

A family's story showing the real impact of Obamacare for many Americans!

Thank you for the opportunity to share our story.

Facts: we are a family of 4 living in the middle class bracket. Our daughter (4 yrs old) has Down Syndrome.

My husband and I make an average gross income of 150K annually. He is self employed and I work as a professional.

Prior to Obamacare we could afford all medical/therapy related Needs for our daughter.

Post Obamacare we cannot and have bills coming at us weekly from any doctor/hospital or lab/therapist that we see in a given month.

It is not my daughter’s fault that she needs help so I take full responsibility for her needs and care. Unfortunately, even with all other living arrangements being equal, I have lost 8,000 in income to out of pocket expenses and that amount is what I have been able to pay out of pocket. I am now on a payment plan with 4 providers because I can’t pay them. This is after insurance offered by my company and my investment of 3,500 into flex spending has been used up.

I now am having to consider cutting therapy sessions (she has apraxia) and we want her to have the help she needs to learn to speak but the bills aren’t getting paid because of limits in care by my firm and me being able to pay the bills for more care and not having income left to do so.

Finally, next year the limit for flex spending is going from 8,000 to 2,500. This is honestly unimaginable to those of us trying to care for our own. This is by far the biggest shock as you would expect more help not 40% less!

I am meeting with a social worker next week to determine if working hard and having an income is a detriment to my daughter’s ability to qualify for the care she needs. If I make less money and can qualify for government help and let my fellow Americans pay a portion, I will likely have no choice but to do it because my purpose in life is to care for my children who cannot do it themselves.

This has been a very depressing 2 years as Obamacare in the short term has dramatically changed our way of living and providing for our family.

While I am trying to remain optimistic, the results speak volumes to me as a citizen.

I beg you to consider my example, as there are 1,000′s of my story out there and there will be more and more as companies change their healthcare plans to reflect the market trend.

I do not want to ask my fellow Americans to pay my bills through Medicaid and I do not want to give up my career just to qualify to get her the help she needs either. There has got to be a better way and this current system isn’t it.

Hillary, the President and Benghazi in a NSFW Politically Incorrect Photo!

The classic political double entendre!

To post or not to post?

Is it over the top, too crass and too irreverent to use?

Is it an unacceptable level of disrespect directed at a President, former Secretary of State and likely presidential candidate in 2016?

Certainly no more so than the treatment of the Americans murdered and left to die in Benghazi due to callousness and an upcoming election!

Here it is and you decide!

Sebelius and the November 30th deadline!

The question from a Democrat this morning was 'Madam Secretary are you confident that the website will be fixed by November 30th?'

She said that she was but the bigger question in this argument has to do with the fundamental difference between the government and the private sector.

When she ultimately fails and the website is not working on November 30th to the standards that would be insisted upon by any entity in the private sector, she will face no repercussions for that failure!

In the private sector she would be fired!

That is why the government cannot run anything well because there is never accountability for failure, punishment for wasting of the taxpayers money or for hitting bottom-line results!

God help us all.

Mystery Solved! The case of Obamacare and OPM*! (Poster)

*OPM of course stands for 'other peoples money'!

And, as Margaret Thatcher once famously said, “The problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people's money.”

In the minds of many Americans what could be better than getting healthcare coverage that's free? In other words instead of footing the bill themselves, other people will pay for it.

It could be the young who will foot the bill for the old and the sick or perhaps the people who can afford more who are mandated to pay more so that others can receive government subsidies.

The problem with Obamacare however, as socialists around the world have found out the hard way, is that eventually there is no more money available because the people who were 'the haves' have been sucked dry.

Obamacare, a program thought up by bureaucrats for political gain and not for viability, will be no different.

Millions will soon find out what this woman has that in life there are no free lunches!

What is Bitcoin? (Video)

This is as good an explanation of Bitcoin as any!

Bitcoin is a method of payment that it not currency in the traditional sense and that is not controlled by governments or central banks, a fact which might be as good a reason for it to succeed as any other.

Senator Ron Johnson: “If You Like Your Health Plan, You Can Keep It Act”

Senator Ron Johnson will propose the 'If You Like Your Health Plan, You Can Keep It Act' that will actually do what Obama had said that Obamacare would do which instead turned out to be a load of crap!

At least until the point that Obamacare is either fixed or repealed.

Johnson to Introduce Act to Allow Americans to Keep Their Health Care

October 25, 2013

Washington, D.C. - Senator Ron Johnson will file legislation next week titled the “If You Like Your Health Plan, You Can Keep It Act.”

Senator Johnson said today:

“One of the most important promises made by President Obama and Democrat congressional leadership to promote the Affordable Care Act was that Americans who were satisfied with their health plans could keep them.  That promise has been broken.  More than a million Americans have been notified that the plans they like with the coverage they have chosen have been canceled.  Millions more Americans will have the plans of their choice canceled in months to come.”

"Americans want the freedom to choose their own plans and want to be in control of their own health care.  They don’t want Obamacare destroying what they have and what they like.  They don’t want their personal choices regarding their health plans and their families’ health plans canceled by Obamacare.

"The ‘If You Like Your Health Plan, You Can Keep It Act’ will amend the law to make Obamacare live up to the promises of the politicians who sold the plan to the American public.  I will file the bill in the coming week and hope to garner support from fellow Senators of both parties who truly want to make sure President Obama honors his promise that every American has the freedom to keep his or her own health care plan."

Is Democrat Joe Manchin finally finding religion on Obamacare! (Video)

Or is it just about politics?

Are his comments in this video a sign that sanity may be returned to the world and Obamacare will be repealed, or is it a harbinger for the real goal of Democrats which is a single payer system?

Given his statements, one might ask where Joe was during the debates and ultimate vote for Obamacare but, I suppose, that the phrase better late than never could be invoked here.

On-the-other-hand, as predicted here yesterday (The Obamacare master plan was failure all along!), is all of this dancing around Obamacare simply a way for this administration and the rest of the Left to achieve its ultimate endgame of a single-payer system that provides the American people with the best that socialized medicine has to offer?

Letter to Barack Obama on the new definition for 'White Coat Syndrome'!

Must read letter written by a man for whom becoming a doctor was a lifelong dream since he was 6-years old!

And now, thanks to Obamacare, he and many just like him are giving up those dreams because medicine as a career may no longer be a viable option.

So given the costs to become a doctor, the time required to become a doctor, the government bureaucracy doctors will be forced to work under and the apparent limit on the amount that a doctor will be able to earn the question becomes this...

Regardless of ones love for healing others, who will still train to become doctors, what will their competency and skill level be and what is the quality of care that American's can reasonably expect from them under the umbrella of socialized medicine?

“Mr. President, I’m Leaving The Medical Field”: Hanging Up The White Coat: A Letter To President Obama' (

Barack Hussein Obama

The White House

1600 Pennsylvania Avenue N.W.

Washington, DC 20500

Mr. President,

I was born at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee. My mother would later take a job delivering babies in that same operating room only a couple years later. My parents got a divorce when I was young. There were many times during the summer when she would be forced to take my sister and me to work with her. I vividly remember the child version of myself walking the halls of the same floor I was born on in fascination as the years passed. The anesthesiologists used to bring us candy and watch movies with us. When the holidays came, a nurse by the name of Patty Vaughn (we called her Granny), would have bags of presents for my sister and me. Donna Smith, a surgical first assistant who came to America from Canada to work in a free-market healthcare system, use to babysit us.

Donna’s two-story town-home became a 3rd home (2nd was the hospital). We spent countless nights at her house.

Patty passed away when I was ten. I still remember the last box of moon pies she gave me for Halloween that year. To this day every time I see a moon pie I think of her. Donna helped me through my undergrad at Belmont University. With tuition at $30k/year money was tight. Donna never let me go without a meal.

You see Mr. President, the smell of sterile operating rooms, horrible coffee, crisp white coats, and cold metal was my destiny. The first time someone ever asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up I responded, “Anesthesiologist”. I had no idea what they even did, but it was the first big word I learned to pronounce as a 6-year-old. The hospital is my family. It’s all I’ve ever known.

Twenty-one years after my birth, in the same hospital, I listened to a fetal heart beat through my very own stethoscope as a student. You know, it’s quite magical. As the cool, metallic bell lies upon the tight skin of a young mother’s stomach anxiety, fear and joy are all present in her face. A week before my birthday I stood at the side of the laboring mother. There’s no other way to explain childbirth than witnessing the face of God. The emotion is enveloping. You can only try (unsuccessfully) to hold the tears back. I knew at that moment what a gift God had given me. To be allowed the involvement of such a beautiful, pure moment was not to be unappreciated.

When I started college I knew where I was going. You had just won the election. I remember the cameras focusing in on Oprah Winfrey’s face. Tears streamed down. At the time, I knew nothing about politics. My biggest concern was a girl in my Anatomy & Physiology class I had a crush on. I paid little attention to Washington DC.

I worked hard. Multiple all-nighters, falling asleep behind the wheel of my car countless times, thousands of shots of espresso (I actually took a job at Starbucks to support the habit) and 15k note-cards later I had graduated in the top 5% of the country. However, during those last few years something changed.

We studied medical legislation for an entire semester. It’s no secret that the federal government has over-burdened the healthcare market, which has manifested astronomical costs to consumers. However, in 2010, democrats forced through the partisan Patient Protection & Affordable Care Act (Obamacare), which was later funded by both democrats and republicans.

Since the passage of Obamacare everything has changed. When I started college I never intended to work for the government. I never thought I’d have a government bureaucrat dictate what I was worth to the market, and I certainly never imagined those same bureaucrats (who have absolutely no medical training) telling me how to treat my patients.

I remember the day Obamacare became law. I was sitting in the hospital working in the anesthesia department part-time to cover the costs of tuition. Dr. Alfery, a mentor of mine, looked over at me and said, “Run– It’s not too late to change majors.”

Your legislation has caused countless doctors to go into retirement early, opt for cash-only practices, and has discouraged bright, young minds from entering the field.

With student loans reaching $300k, incalculable opportunity costs and 8 years lost to school, students seeking medical degrees give their lives to the practice. Starting our careers at 30 while dictating to us how much money we can make is nothing short of destroying all incentive to enter the field.

Since that day I’ve yet to find a doctor who recommends the field. People respond to my complaints, “It’s still going to be a good job”. I don’t want a “good job”. I have not fought for a government entitlement of a “good job”. I want an incredible career. That’s what I have fought tirelessly for.

I have been on a path to enter the Air Force and continue my education in medicine. I have been dreaming of specializing in pediatric neurosurgery for half a decade.

After quite literally losing my hair from the internal conflict, considering the sunk costs and evaluating different avenues I have decided.

I have decided that I believe in the principles of a truly free-market, and I trust the free-market. Because of this deep, internal value system I cannot, with clear conscience, continue on this path. My life has value. Such value cannot be calculated by Washington bureaucrats. I won’t allow it. Only a true free-market can accurately assess the value I am capable of.

Mr President, I’m leaving the medical field. I’m hanging up the white coat. However, let me be clear. You have not won. Unless something “changes”, you’ve lost and will continue to lose. You will fail because you lack principle. Meanwhile, we will succeed because we are born of principle.

Don't be fooled! The Obamacare master plan was failure all along!

Say all of the negatives things you will about Barack Obama (and I certainly have) but the one thing we can all agree on is that he is a cold and calculating ideologue!

With that said, does it strike anyone else as somewhat curious that despite all of the time and all of the money and all of the warnings from the website creators, this Obamacare rollout was such an abysmal failure?

I know what the naysayers are going to say about that question.

Nay, they will say! Failure is no great surprise because little that this President has done has been competent so why should Obamacare be any exception?

To the naysayers I say that while this is certainly true, the fact remains that as of right now the focus of the conversation about Obamacare has turned to the website failure rather than the failure of the law.

This plays right into the hands of a President who is masterfully skilled at the game of running out the clock on one issue while waiting for some other issue, scandal or cover-up to take its place.

And, as we know, when it does his lapdogs in the media will take their direction from the White House and dutifully turn their collective noses away from Obamacare and onto something else.

Then, by the time this website is fixed (if it ever is) and all of the glitches are ironed out we will be many many months down the road and by then it may unfortunately be too late to do anything about repealing Obamacare.

Then, when it all fails, it will only be time before we are living under a single-payer system, joining our friends across the pond and to our north and doing our best UK/Canada socialized medicine dance.

Bottom line?

Don't sell Barack Obama short!

He may be an incredibly bad President but he is nothing if not a Chicago community organizer who knows what he wants and will stop at nothing to get it.

The Obamacare A-Team - This is what incompetence looks like!

'We are going to get to the bottom of it and those responsible will be held accountable!'

I paraphrase from memory but that is the same Obama claptrap that we have heard in scandals as diverse as the murder of four Americans in Benghazi to the now failed rollout of the President's signature 'achievement' Obamacare.

But of course no one in the administration ever pays a price for their gross incompetence and even worse.

It's the American people who pay the price whether through the waste of our tax dollars or the continued degradation of our national security and international stature under a President who has incredibly made Jimmy Carter appear to have been not so bad (just kidding about that one)!

In any event for anyone out there worried about the fact that after three-plus years and hundreds of millions of dollars spent to roll-out something as simple as a registration website that failed miserably, please relax.

The President has the same group of incompetent bureaucrats who crashed and burned with the implementation the first time working on the fix. That's the beauty of government!

The Obamacare A-Team is on the case!

Be afraid! Be very afraid!

Obamacare Website: No-Bid Contract to FOM*!

An Obamacare 'Did You Know?' (*FOM = Friend of Michelle)

Actually a better question might be if not for articles like this one, 'Would you ever know?'

Who Built Obamacare's 678 Million Dollar Website?

Do you think that there might  be a problem here?

Another looming scandal that is going to be ignored by mainstream media to the tune of 3/4 of a billion dollars.

Toni Townes-Whitley
Senior Vice President at CGI Federal

The Feds only reviewed one bid to build the ACA (Obamacare website)

"Federal officials considered only one firm to design the Obamacare health insurance exchange website that has performed abysmally since its Oct. 1 debut.

Rather than open the contracting process to a competitive public solicitation with multiple bidders, officials in the Department of Health and Human Services' Centers for Medicare and Medicaid accepted a sole bidder, CGI Federal, the U.S. subsidiary of a Canadian company with an uneven record of IT pricing and contract performance.

CMS officials are tight-lipped about why CGI was chosen or how it happened. They also refuse to say if other firms competed with CGI, or if there was ever a public solicitation for building, the backbone of Obamacare’s problem-plagued web portal."

Some allegations have come to light.

*Toni Townes-Whitley, Senior Vice President at CGI Federal for Civilian Agency programs, is Princeton Class of 1985. Michelle Obama is Princeton Class of 1985. Both are members of Association of Black Princeton Alumni.

*CGI "donated" $47 Million to Obama's campaign.

*CGI executives were large campaign bundlers for the Obama. They helped him shut off all the security features on Obama's campaign donation website in 2008 and 2012 in order to take multi-millions in foreign donations.

Why are members of the Mainstream Media not asking questions?

The question in the last sentence has been asked too many times with no good answer having ever been provided!
